SCSE - Student Course Section

SCSE errors involve a student’s enrollment in a particular course section. These records must match an existing CRSE record using fields such as school, academic year, local course ID, section ID, and academic term. Verify both sides of the relationship when CALPADS cannot connect a student to the intended section.

FRMT0001 Wrong field length

FRMT0004 Invalid characters for numeric field

Data for a numeric field must be a number or a decimal point.

FRMT0009 Invalid column count for file type

Format for invalid column (fields) count based on file type

GERR0001 Required Field Missing

A required field for the submitted Record Type is missing

GERR0002 Value Not Found in Reference Set

The value provided for the field is not a valid value from the CALPADS Code Sets

GERR0005 LEA does not have ownership of student enrollment to make the update

Student must be enrolled in the School of Attendance during the Academic Year specified

GERR0010 Fall 2 File Types Cannot be Submitted for Preschools

If the file submitted has a Record Type of SASS, CRSE, SCSE, or PSTS-F2, then the School must not be a Preschool.

Two or more records exist with the same primary key fields.

SCSE0199 Invalid NPS School of Course Delivery

School of Course Delivery must not be an NPS school

SCSE0201 School not open during Academic Year

School should be open during Academic Year reported

SCSE0534 SCSE/C records cannot have a future Academic Year

If Record Type = SCSE or SCSC, then Academic Year cannot be in the future.
