SDLA Flowchart: validate the reporting chain from the top

1 - Local enrollment and instructional realityConfirm the student, school, dates, schedule, course, and section.
2 - SENR enrollment ownershipThe accepted enrollment must support the SSID, school, and applicable dates.
3 - SDEM, SASS, and CRSE prerequisitesConfirm the educator assignment and course section in the same context.
4 - SCSE student-to-section relationshipConnect the SSID to the intended section with matching identifiers.
5 - Fall 2 reports and certificationReconcile schedules, course counts, assignments, and services.

Recommended correction path

  1. 1

    Preserve the rejected row

Capture the submission ID, row number, export time, and exact delimited row.

  2. 2

    Compare the complete SCSE layout

Check the 15 SCSE fields, order, lengths, delimiters, encoding, and column count against Version 18.0 specifications.

  3. 3

    Locate the first structural break

Compare with an accepted row; an earlier delimiter can shift every later value.

  4. 4

    Trace the export definition

Identify the SIS report, integration, or transformation that created the structure.

  5. 5

    Correct the authoritative source

Repair the SIS value, school-year configuration, schedule, crosswalk, or extract rule rather than hand-editing only one upload row.

  6. 6

    Reprocess and reconcile

Confirm SCSE acceptance and inspect other students produced by the same configuration.
