Student Registration / Scheduling

Registration and scheduling systems guide families and school staff through enrollment, annual updates, course requests, and placement.

They replace repetitive paperwork with accessible, multilingual workflows while validating information, collecting required documents and permissions, balancing course demand, resolving conflicts, and transferring approved records into the student information system.

What these systems support

  • New and returning student registration, forms, uploads, signatures, and verification
  • Course requests, prerequisites, staffing, sections, rooms, calendars, and conflict resolution
  • Family status tracking, staff review, notifications, SIS integration, and audit history

Note: SDLA does not endorse or resell any of the systems listed on this site.

abl logo

Product Details

Overview

Abl Master Scheduler is a secondary-school scheduling platform that uses course requests, staffing, rooms, constraints, student needs, and program priorities to help teams build and revise master schedules. It exchanges information with the SIS but does not register or enroll students into a district.

The schedule connects student demand with courses, staff, rooms, and constraints. Counselors, school leaders, and SIS staff reconcile proposed sections before they become operational class assignments. The proposed plan and the active school schedule can differ during development. Staff coordinate the reviewed handoff so rooms, courses, and student assignments describe the same operating period.

Aeries Online Enrollment logo

Product Details

Overview

Aeries Online Enrollment lets families new to a district submit student information and supporting documents online. School staff review submissions, check for existing student records, and select the information to import into Aeries SIS. It sits at the intake end of the student-data process, connecting family-entered information with the district’s operational student record. The important handoff is between a submitted application and a reviewed, imported record: completing the online form begins the process, while staff review determines what enters the SIS.

Class Composer logo

Product Details

Overview

Class Composer is an elementary class-placement tool that helps school teams create balanced classroom rosters for the next school year. Educators enter or import student characteristics, relationships, services, academic information, and placement considerations, then compare proposed class groupings.

Proposed groupings combine student needs with school-level placement judgments. Teachers and leaders review the information, then coordinate approved assignments with the SIS before the next school year begins.

Product Details

Overview

PowerSchool Enrollment, formerly InfoSnap, provides online enrollment, registration, school-choice, and returning-student information workflows. Families complete forms, upload documents, and provide signatures while school staff review submissions and prepare records for the district's student information system. Central tracking helps schools follow up on incomplete applications. The handoff to the SIS depends on reviewed family information and clear application status. School offices distinguish new applicants, returning-student updates, and completed enrollment before updating operational records.

SchoolMint Enroll logo

Product Details

Overview

SchoolMint Enroll is a K–12 enrollment-management platform for applications, registration, school choice, lotteries, waitlists, offers, acceptance, re-enrollment, and family communication. Districts and charter organizations configure programs, priorities, eligibility rules, deadlines, and required documents in a centralized workflow.

Applications, offers, acceptance, and enrollment describe successive decisions, each with different owners. Enrollment teams coordinate rules and deadlines while preparing accepted-student information for the operational student record. Admission status and an operational enrollment record are separate facts. Enrollment staff coordinate review and the final handoff to the SIS after the relevant decisions are complete.

Synergy Online Registration logo

Product Details

Overview

Synergy Online Registration is Edupoint’s enrollment and annual-update module for collecting family-submitted student information through configurable online forms. It uses Synergy SIS data for returning students and prepares new or changed information for staff review within the connected Synergy environment. Families submit information while staff determine which changes become part of the shared Synergy student record. That review connects enrollment intake with classroom, attendance, and communication workflows downstream.
