LEAP — LEA Educational Program

LEAP errors involve programs administered or reported at the local educational agency level. These validations check program identifiers, dates, participation information, and other required values. Review the relevant program definition and confirm that each LEAP record accurately represents the program offered by the LEA during the reported period.

FRMT0001 Wrong field length

Field length must match CALPADS File Specifications (CFS)

FRMT0008 Field must be whole integer, up to max field length

Field must be whole integer, up to max field length.

FRMT0009 Invalid column count for file type

Format for invalid column (fields) count based on file type

GERR0001 Required Field Missing

A required field for the submitted Records Type is missing

GERR0002 Value Not Found in Reference Set

The value provided for the field is not a valid value from the CALPADS Code Sets

GERR0005-LEAP Reporting LEA did not have participant enrolled during the AY.

Reporting LEA does not have any primary or secondary enrollments for the SSID.

GERR0007 Code submitted outside the Effective Date Range

Code must be submitted with an Academic Year ID that overlaps, on at least one day, the CALPADS effective date range for the code.

IVR0001 Invalid Submitter

The Reporting LEA of the submitter must equal the Reporting LEA in the record, or the Reporting SELPA of the submitter must have a relationship with the Reporting LEA in the record.

IVR0006 Invalid Academic Year

Academic Year ID must be a valid academic school year combination and no more than one year in the future

IVR0007 Invalid SSID

SSID must be a valid CALPADS SSID in the ODS

IVR0116 Duplicates within File based on Primary Key

If two or more records exist in the file based on the file type's primary key fields.
