Fields validated:

- 1.23 Enrollment Status Code
Recommended correction path
- 1
Confirm the intended participant
Compare the registration form, local program record, student name and local ID, SSID, Reporting LEA, and academic year.
- 2
Check qualifying SENR history
Confirm that the student had a primary or secondary enrollment somewhere in the Reporting LEA during the academic year. The ELP itself may operate at another site or outside regular enrollment dates.
- 3
Bring in the correct owners
Coordinate expanded-learning staff, the registrar or enrollment team, CALPADS staff, the SIS analyst, and the program-attendance system owner.
- 4
Correct the legitimate dependency
Fix the LEAP identity or a genuinely missing SENR record. If the student was never enrolled in the LEA during the year, remove the student from the LEAP submission rather than manufacturing enrollment.
- 5
Verify the accepted participant
Confirm the record in CALPADS and reconcile Reports 19.1 and 19.2 with the signed-registration roster and local attendance source.
Where this correction sits in the 2026–27 calendar
Dates are from the current CDE CALPADS 2026–27 calendar. Verify the official calendar before acting because dates can change.
Before closing the ticket
- Confirm the corrected LEAP record under the intended student, Reporting LEA, and academic year.
- Reconcile CALPADS Reports 19.1 and 19.2 with signed registrations and distinct participation dates.
- Document whether the defect arose in enrollment, identity matching, program coding, attendance capture, deduplication, or extract logic.
- Check every student affected by the same system rule before EOY 1 certification.
Official references and practical support
Expanded-learning, SIS, and extract support
LEAP may combine data from registration forms, program-attendance platforms, SIS enrollment and identity records, spreadsheets, and CALPADS extracts. Ask the responsible vendors how they identify a registered student, deduplicate attendance by calendar date, match SSIDs, retain audit evidence, and generate Fields 26.01–26.09. Access may require a customer account.
