LEAP reportingSubmit code 194 and the annual distinct-day count for the correct student, LEA, and year.

Concrete diagnostic checks

  • Confirm the file was generated for the intended LEA—numeric filenames are easy to confuse across districts.
  • Verify the user’s organization, LEA access, and LEAP-related role.
  • Do not change a correct Reporting LEA simply to match the account currently logged in.

Recommended correction path

  1. 1

    Preserve the rejected evidence

Record the submission ID, row number, exact nine-field row, source file, export time, and rejected value before changing anything.

  2. 2

Confirm the intended student, LEA, and year

Match SSID and Local Student ID, confirm Reporting LEA, and place enrollment and participation inside the correct academic year.

  3. 3

    Trace the expanded-learning evidence

Connect signed registration, eligible program, dated attendance, source vendor, and any deduplication or aggregation process.

  4. 4

    Apply the rule-specific checks

Confirm the file was generated for the intended LEA—numeric filenames are easy to confuse across districts. Verify the user’s organization, LEA access, and LEAP-related role. Do not change a correct Reporting LEA simply to match the account currently logged in.

  5. 5

    Correct the owning source

Use an authorized account for the correct LEA, or regenerate the file with the correct Reporting LEA when the source was wrong.

  6. 6

    Regenerate, resubmit, and reconcile

Confirm acceptance, then reconcile CALPADS Reports 19.1 and 19.2 with the registration roster and distinct-date evidence. Check every record affected by the same system rule.
