SCTE - Student Career Tech Ed

SCTE errors involve student participation and completion in Career Technical Education pathways. These validations may examine pathway codes, completion status, academic year, school, and related student enrollment information. Confirm that the reported pathway and completion data agree with local CTE records and the student’s participation during the reporting period.

Format for invalid column (fields) count based on file type

GERR0001 Required Field Missing

A required field for the submitted Records Type is missing

GERR0002 Value Not Found in Reference Set

The value provided for the field is not a valid value from the CALPADS Code Sets

GERR0005 - SCTE LEA does not have ownership of student enrollment to make the update

Student must be enrolled in the School of Attendance during the Academic Year specified

IVR0001 Invalid Submitter

Reporting LEA must equal CDS code associated with submitter User ID

IVR0002 Invalid Reporting School

School must be a valid code in CDS and have an active CALPADS reporting relationship with the Reporting LEA

IVR0006 Invalid Academic Year

Academic Year ID must be a valid academic school year combination and no more than one year in the future

IVR0007 Invalid SSID

SSID must be a valid CALPADS SSID in the ODS

IVR0116 Duplicates within File based on Primary Key

Two or more records exist with the same primary key fields.

IVR0199 Invalid School of Attendance or Course Delivery

School of Attendance or Course Delivery must not be an NPS school or a Private School Group

SCTE0201 School not open during Academic Year

School should be open during Academic Year reported

SCTE0242 Invalid CTE Pathway Completion Academic Year ID for Academic Year

The CTE Pathway Completion Academic Year ID must match the Academic Year ID
