The SCTE Academic Year ID is not a valid consecutive-year value or is beyond the future-year limit CALPADS accepts.

Academic Year ID must use the required consecutive-year format, such as 2026-2027, and cannot be more than one year in the future.

    Check punctuation, digit count, leading/trailing spaces, and whether the two years are consecutive.

    Match the record to the actual EOY 2 cycle and the student’s enrollment and pathway-completion timeline.

    Compare dependent fields

    Review School of Attendance and CTE Pathway Completion Academic Year ID so the year correction does not create a new ownership or SCTE0242 error.

    Correct the source or export parameter

    Update the SIS academic-year setting, report prompt, transformation, or student record that generated the invalid year.

    Regenerate and reconcile

    Verify the accepted SCTE record in the intended year and check the full extract for the same report-parameter defect.
