Record the submitted school and year, the student’s enrollment dates, pathway participation/completion, and the school’s official open/close status.

Use the California School Directory to confirm CDS identity, operational dates, renamed/reorganized schools, charter status, and any successor campus.

Compare with CALPADS enrollment
Verify that SENR places the student at a valid school in the reporting LEA during the same academic year.

Correct the true source
Fix the SCTE year or school when wrong; if enrollment history is wrong, correct the legitimate SENR dependency first with supporting records and local authorization.
