Seesaw
Overview

Seesaw combines elementary classroom activities, multimodal student work, portfolios, formative assessment, feedback, and family communication. Students use photos, video, audio, drawing, text, and files to demonstrate learning, while teachers organize the activity and respond.
A portfolio connects student-created work with assignments, feedback, and an intended family audience. Teachers and school staff coordinate class membership and sharing as learners progress through the school year. Classroom activity and official academic records can have different owners. Staff coordinate which information is shared, reviewed, or finalized outside the instructional platform.
