How it supports learning

  • Teachers assign articles and text sets at accessible levels, connect reading to standards or curriculum topics, and use quizzes, writing, annotations, and reports to guide instruction.
  • Teachers should use the product within a defined instructional model rather than treat activity completion as evidence of learning.

Implementation and instructional decisions

  • Evaluate the licensed subject products and avoid allowing automatic leveling to isolate students from grade-level knowledge and discussion.
  • Districts should confirm accessibility, language support, student-data practices, assignment workflow, reporting, and the role of teacher judgment.
