Khan Academy is a nonprofit learning platform with videos, articles, exercises, courses, and teacher assignment tools. Students learn or review concepts at their own pace while teachers assign skills, examine progress, and provide instruction around the digital activities. The learning history reflects assigned skills and student practice within the platform. Teachers connect those results with classroom evidence when choosing review, enrichment, or additional instruction.

Implementation and instructional decisions
- Select courses deliberately by grade and standards; open access does not eliminate the need for curriculum alignment, accessibility review, and teacher monitoring.
- Districts should confirm accessibility, language support, student-data practices, assignment workflow, reporting, and the role of teacher judgment.
