D’Nealian Handwriting is Savvas’s handwriting curriculum using the D’Nealian manuscript-to-cursive approach. Students practice letter strokes, spacing, words, sentences, and connected writing through print and digital resources.
Practice sheets and student writing provide direct evidence of handwriting development. Teachers connect those artifacts with observed letter formation and the selected manuscript-to-cursive instructional sequence. The adopted edition and implementation determine the available digital records. Curriculum teams and teachers coordinate materials, access, and the interpretation of locally assessed work.
