
SINC errors involve incidents associated with student discipline reporting. These validations may examine incident identifiers, dates, locations, authorities, and relationships among students involved in the same event. Confirm that each incident is reported once, uses valid codes, and connects correctly to its related offense and result records.

LEA Does Not Have Ownership of Student Enrollment to Make the Update
Student must be enrolled in the School of Attendance during the Academic Year specified
GERR0007
Code Submitted Outside the Effective Date Range
Code must be submitted with an Academic Year ID that overlaps, on at least one day, the CALPADS effective date range for the code.
IVR0001
Invalid Submitter
The Reporting LEA of the submitter must equal the Reporting LEA in the record, or the Reporting SELPA of the submitter must have a relationship with the Reporting LEA in the record.

Invalid Reporting School
School must be a valid code in CDS and have an active CALPADS reporting relationship with the Reporting LEA
IVR0006
Invalid Academic Year
Academic Year ID must be a valid academic school year combination and no more than one year in the future
SSID must be a valid CALPADS SSID in the ODS
IVR0009
Invalid Characters in Field
Field must only contain Alphabetic letters, numbers, periods, hyphens apostrophes, forward slashes, spaces. Alphabetic characters with accents, tildes, or umlauts are allowed.
Valid characters are based on the UTF-8 character set standards.

Two or more records exist with the same primary key fields.

Incident Occurrence Date must be less than or equal to current date

Incident Occurrence Date must be within Academic Year specified

Invalid Statutory Offense Indicator
If Removal to Interim Alternative Setting Reason Code is 1 or 2; or Student Instructional Support Indicator is populated, then Statutory Offense Indicator must be equal to 'Y'
