Follett Destiny Library Manager manages school-library catalogs, circulation, patron records, and related library operations. Librarians and district media teams use it to track materials and lending. Destiny Discover is the discovery interface, while Destiny Resource Manager addresses separate non-library resource workflows.
Library access follows changes in enrollment and staff assignments, so patron identifiers and school membership connect circulation work with SIS and technology administration. The patron record and the item record have separate maintenance needs. Library, SIS, and technology staff coordinate their relationship through school changes and annual rollover.

- Maintains MARC-based title and copy records for print, digital, and other library resources.
- Provides Destiny Discover search, availability, holds, lists, and supported digital-resource access.
Circulation and patrons
- Handles checkout, return, renewal, holds, fines, notices, patron records, and configurable circulation policies.
- Supports barcode-based daily library workflows.
Inventory and collection development
- Conducts inventory, identifies missing or aging items, analyzes circulation and collection health, and supports weeding and purchasing decisions.
- Shares resources and visibility across district sites.
District administration
- Provides roles, site and district controls, dashboards, reports, imports, and supported SIS, SSO, and content integrations.
