Google Classroom
Overview

Google Classroom is the course and assignment hub within Google Workspace for Education. Teachers organize classwork, distribute Google files and other resources, collect submissions, grade work, provide feedback, and communicate with students from one familiar workspace.
Class membership connects assignments, student submissions, and teacher feedback. The relationship between classroom grades and the district’s official grading record depends on the school’s configured processes. Classroom activity and official academic records can have different owners. Staff coordinate which information is shared, reviewed, or finalized outside the instructional platform.
