Name your Physical Fitness Test (PFT) coordinator
Every LEA (local educational agency: a district, charter school, or county office) designates a PFT coordinator by November 1. If your LEA serves no students in grades 5, 7, or 9, the CDE FAQ says to notify CDE as a zero-enrollment LEA instead. Confirm that exception directly with the PFT Office.
Who it applies to: LEAs responsible for PFT coordination.
Responsibility areas: Attendance & Enrollment, Assessment & Testing, SIS & Data Systems
Date window · Nov 1, 2026–Nov 30, 2026

Responsibility areas: Special Education, Fiscal & Budget
