Submit Charter 20-Day Data and Extraordinary Cost Pool Claims
A shared deadline with separate charter-growth and special-education claim workflows, evidence, approvers, and delivery requirements.
In Plain Language: Complete each applicable workflow independently: charter 20-Day forms for special advance funding, and supported nonpublic-school or necessary-small-SELPA extraordinary-cost claims with required paid-invoice documentation.
Why this matters
The common deadline can obscure different programs and owners. Missing hard-copy/postmark or invoice support can defeat an otherwise complete online claim.
Primary ownership
Primary owner: PADC coordinator routes applicability. Partners: charter business/authorizer, special education/SELPA, accounts payable, fiscal, vendors, and CDE PASE.
Operational workflow
- 1. Determine which of the three listed submissions applies.
- 2. For charter forms, reconcile actual early enrollment/attendance to estimates and route approvals.
- 3. For ECP claims, validate pupil eligibility, costs, offsets, paid invoices, and SELPA/LEA approvals.
- 4. Complete online and physical/electronic delivery steps as applicable.
- 5. Confirm receipt and retain separate final packets.
