Parlay is a platform for written and verbal academic discussion. Teachers launch roundtables with prompts and resources, students contribute and respond, and educators use rubrics and participation information.
Participation records describe contributions within a specific discussion and prompt. Teachers connect them with reasoning, listening, and feedback. The prompt, format, and participation expectations shape the resulting evidence. Teachers use the discussion record in the context of the learning goal and their assessment approach.
