ClassLink is a K–12 access, rostering, identity-management, and application-analytics platform. LaunchPad gives students and staff a role-based single sign-on portal; Roster Server distributes SIS roster data to learning applications; OneSync automates account and group changes; and Analytics provides application-use reporting.
Student and employee source records become accounts and application access. District data and technology teams coordinate identity matching, role changes, and the timing of roster delivery. An account, an application permission, and a class membership are different relationships. Their source, timing, and approval determine what a person can actually do after signing in.
A transfer, departure, or duplicate identity can affect several applications at once. District teams coordinate matching, authorization, update timing, and exceptions across the deployed connections. Sign-in, account creation, and roster sharing are related processes with different purposes; understanding each boundary helps explain why access may succeed in one service and fail in another.

LaunchPad single sign-on

OneSync identity automation
- Creates and updates users, groups, and access based on source data and district rules.
- Keeps identity and roster information aligned so application access follows enrollment, school, grade, course, and employment changes.
Application ecosystem
- Supports SAML, OAuth, LTI, OneRoster, SFTP, and other documented integration methods for participating applications.
- Connects users with cloud files, Microsoft and Google environments, LMS resources, and a large catalog of education applications.
Usage and administration
- Reports application logins, engagement, and adoption to help districts support users and review spending.
- Centralizes troubleshooting so administrators can trace whether an access problem originates in source data, rostering, assignment, or authentication.
