Libib
Overview
- Overview
-
Libib is a cloud cataloging and circulation platform for books, media, classroom collections, and small-to-midsize libraries. Schools can scan ISBN or UPC codes, organize collections, publish a searchable catalog, manage patrons, check items in and out, place holds, generate barcodes, and run reports.
Collection and patron identifiers connect an item with a borrower and lending history. Staff maintain that relationship through catalog changes, check-outs, returns, and local collection management. The patron record and the item record have separate maintenance needs. Library, SIS, and technology staff coordinate their relationship through school changes and annual rollover.
