inquirED Inquiry Journeys is inquirED’s inquiry-based elementary social-studies curriculum. Students investigate compelling questions using texts, media, primary and secondary sources, discussion, projects, writing, and assessment.
An inquiry connects sources, discussion, student questions, and a culminating response. Teachers connect those artifacts with the unit sequence and local assessment expectations for social-studies reasoning. The adopted edition and implementation determine the available digital records. Curriculum teams and teachers coordinate materials, access, and the interpretation of locally assessed work.

- Teachers should connect use to explicit learning goals and inspect student work rather than rely on completion, time-on-task, or engagement alone.
Implementation and instructional decisions
- Confirm grade, state alignment, print/digital materials, and professional learning.
- Districts should confirm accessibility, language support, student-data practices, assignment workflow, reporting, and the continuing role of teacher judgment.
