Finalsite Mass Notifications, formerly Blackboard Connect and ParentLink, is a K–12 communication platform for sending district, school, attendance, emergency, and classroom messages through voice calls, SMS, email, mobile-app notifications, websites, and social media. The platform synchronizes recipient and relationship data from district systems, supports targeted and automated outreach, translates messages into many languages, and reports delivery and engagement.
An accurate phone number is only part of the relationship: the system also needs to know which student, guardian, school, and message audience belong together when outreach is sent. Sending a message and successfully reaching the intended person are different events. Staff review contact quality and delivery information as part of ongoing outreach.
