LanSchool Air is Lenovo's cloud classroom-management platform for Chromebooks, Windows, Mac, and mixed-device classrooms. It gives teachers a live view of student screens and tools to limit websites, blank or lock screens, open a website for the class, share the teacher's screen, exchange messages, and respond to digital hand raises.
The class roster and device relationship determines which screens a teacher can guide. IT staff maintain the underlying access, while teachers use session activity to support the lesson at hand. The instructional session has a narrower purpose than whole-device administration. Teachers and IT staff coordinate class access and the controls appropriate to the lesson.

Screen monitoring

- Shows student connectivity and battery status to help teachers identify device issues before they interrupt instruction.
- Supports cloud deployment across Chromebook and mixed-device environments.
Automated rostering
- Synchronizes classes and roster changes through Google Classroom, Clever, and ClassLink.
- Districts should review monitoring hours, student notice, role permissions, screenshots, and privacy expectations before deployment.
