Khanmigo is Khan Academy’s generative AI tutor for learners and teaching assistant for educators. Student interactions use guided questions intended to support reasoning, while educators use the available assistance around lesson preparation and learning activities.
The learner interaction sits within a teaching context. Educators connect available activity information with classroom observation and review generated guidance before relying on it. The intended audience and the information supplied to the system define important boundaries. Educators and administrators coordinate account settings, oversight, and review of the material produced.
