United States historyQualifying grades in the required course or a qualifying LEA/private-provider examinationApply the current published threshold.
Two additional areasAdditional unused qualifying evidence from the required subjects, other high-school courses, or qualifying examinationsDocument two distinct additional subject qualifications.

The summary above provides orientation, not a substitute for the current CDE eligibility page and annual procedures.

This is not the same as honors graduation, valedictorian status, or UC/CSU eligibility. It is a defined California recognition with its own evidence requirements. Do not set field 1.32 to Y merely because the student has strong grades, earned another seal, or completed “a–g” coursework.
