Status 30 is wrongUse the enrollment status that accurately describes the student’s relationship.Do not default automatically to Primary without verifying responsibility.
School of Attendance is wrongSubmit the valid CDS code of the Educational Options school actually serving the student.Do not substitute an alternative school merely to qualify for status 30.
School is locally called “alternative” but lacks the official ESI typeUse its official classification and an eligible status.Local branding does not control CALPADS organization data.
Official classification appears incorrectVerify the CDE directory/ESI record and pursue organization-data correction.Do not alter factual enrollment while the organization issue is investigated.

Three requirements travel together: status 30 must be used by an eligible Educational Options school, must represent a genuine short-term placement, and must remain 30 calendar days or fewer.
