CALPADS rule: If Student School Completion Status Code equals 100, 106, or 108 (Graduated), Student Met All UC/CSU Requirements Indicator must be populated.

Version 18 context: Completion statuses 106 and 108 are historical; current graduates ordinarily use 100. Older CALPADS records may still explain why the rule names all three.

Blank is not “No.” A blank value means the required determination was not transmitted. Use Y only after the LEA’s authorized transcript/admission-requirement review supports it; use N when that review determines the graduate did not meet the applicable minimum requirements. Do not infer either answer solely from diploma status, GPA, application, acceptance, or college attendance.

Both systems require qualifying performance in courses used to meet subject requirements. UC also requires at least 11 of the 15 yearlong courses before the student’s final year. Apply the current rules and authorized alternatives—not a simple count of course titles.

    Use the complete course/grade history and the LEA’s authorized UC/CSU review process.

  4. Verify approved coursework

    Match courses to the school, academic year, approved A–G area, grades, repeats, and permitted alternatives.

  5. Apply current admission requirements

    Review the complete subject pattern and applicable timing, GPA, residency, and other minimum criteria.

  6. Record the determination

    Enter Y or N in the authoritative SIS according to documented local authority.

  7. Verify the extract

    Confirm the exact uppercase value appears in SENR field 1.29 on the correct graduate segment.

  8. Submit and verify

    Confirm SENR0031 clears and CALPADS retains the intended completion and indicator values.

  9. Review the graduate population

    Find other blanks or unsupported defaults sharing the same school, graduation batch, counseling workflow, or extract logic.

  • Confirm Completion Status accurately identifies a standard-diploma graduate.
  • Verify field 1.29 contains an evidence-supported Y or N.
