Recommended correction path

   Preserve the rejected row and placement context

   Capture the submission ID, fields 1.04–1.06, enrollment and placement dates, error details, untouched file, and extract time.

   Confirm that 0000001 is intentional

   Review authorized IEP and placement evidence. If the student does not attend an NPS, determine the correct public or charter School of Attendance instead.

   Identify the exact NPS and campus

   Match the placement documents to the searchable snapshot, live School Directory, and current CDE certification resources.

   Derive the seven-digit School code correctly

   From the verified 14-digit CDS identity, preserve the final seven-digit School component—including leading zeros—for field 1.06.

   Complete the supported field pattern
