This error is triggered when all of the following are true:

  • The student is enrolled on Fall 1 Census Day.
  • SENR 1.05 — School of Attendance — is 0000002, Private School Group.
  • CALPADS cannot associate the student by SSID with a qualifying MEET record for eligibility purposes or a PLAN record.

The related MEET or PLAN does not have to belong to the LEA that reported the private-school SENR record.

What changed operationally

Recommended correction path

    Preserve the failed snapshot evidence

    Save the SSID, Reporting LEA, Fall 1 revision, School of Attendance, Enrollment Start Date, Enrollment Exit Date, and the PLAN and MEET histories visible to authorized staff.

    Verify the private-school enrollment

    Confirm that School of Attendance 0000002 accurately represents the student’s Census Day enrollment. Verify the enrollment status, start date, exit date, school placement, and responsible reporting relationship.

    Review the statewide student history

    Search the authorized CALPADS and special education histories for an associated MEET or PLAN under the same SSID. Include records reported by other LEAs; do not limit the search to the SENR Reporting LEA.

    Validate the record and dates

    Confirm that the MEET represents the relevant eligibility activity or that the PLAN represents the student’s supported plan history. Check the MEET date, PLAN effective start date, SSID, and transmission status.

    Identify the record owner

    If the needed record belongs to your LEA, correct it in the SEDS and submit it. If it belongs to another LEA, coordinate with that LEA or the appropriate SELPA rather than creating an unsupported duplicate.

    Correct the supported source

    Repair the SENR when the enrollment is wrong, or submit the supported MEET or PLAN when it is truly missing. Correct any API queue, record-selection, SSID, or effective-date mapping that prevented the record from reaching CALPADS.

    Regenerate and reconcile Fall 1

    Confirm SENR0623F1 clears after the snapshot is regenerated. Reconcile Report 1.0 Certification Errors, Report 16.12 Students with Disabilities Education Plan by Primary Disability, Report 16.14 Students with Disabilities Plan Student List, and the applicable SELPA reports with the corrected histories.

Before closing the correction

  • The 0000002 private-school enrollment and Census Day dates are supported.
  • The same SSID was used to review PLAN and MEET history across LEAs.
  • A qualifying MEET or PLAN exists, or the truly missing record has been submitted by its owning LEA.
  • No unsupported duplicate record was created.
  • Any source-system or transmission problem has been corrected.
  • The refreshed Fall 1 and SELPA reports reconcile with the authoritative histories.
