Follett Aspen SIS is a configurable K–12 student information system for registration, enrollment, scheduling, attendance, gradebook, transcripts, behavior, health, student support, special education, communication, portals, and regulatory reporting. Districts should govern extensive customization carefully so upgrades, reporting, documentation, and integrations remain supportable.

My Integrated Student Information System, or MiSiS, is Los Angeles Unified School District’s districtwide environment for student enrollment, demographics, attendance, scheduling, grades, transcripts, discipline, programs, health, and operational reporting. It consolidates student information used by LAUSD schools and central offices.

MiSiS clearly performs the role of an SIS, but it is a locally developed and operated LAUSD system rather than a generally purchasable commercial product. The catalog should retain the historical district relationship while later deciding whether district-built systems belong beside market products or in a separate locally developed systems section.

OASIS from Innovative School Solutions is a student information and school-management system used by California education programs. It supports student records and operational workflows, but the public vendor site provides less product detail than major national SIS providers.

The member-reported connection should be preserved while the later reconciliation documents which districts or programs use OASIS, the student populations served, current CALPADS and attendance capabilities, available portals, integrations, hosting model, and whether OASIS is the authoritative SIS or a specialty program system.

PowerSchool eSchoolPlus SIS is a district student information system for enrollment, demographics, scheduling, attendance, grades, transcripts, discipline, health, activities, and required reporting. Teacher, student, and family applications provide access to classroom and student information.

The product is positioned for districts that need established administrative workflows and connections across the PowerSchool ecosystem. Districts should distinguish eSchoolPlus from PowerSchool SIS and document which PowerSchool products, portals, integrations, and state-reporting processes are actually deployed.

Q SIS from Aequitas Solutions is a comprehensive student information system designed especially for California school districts. It manages enrollment, demographics, attendance, scheduling, grading, transcripts, behavior, health, programs, portals, registration, and operational reporting.

Its California-based support and CALPADS workflows are central to the product’s district use. Configurable fields, dashboards, rules, reports, and optional modules let agencies adapt Q to local operations, while APIs and standards-based exchanges connect downstream systems.

Ravenna Student Management is the current successor to BigSIS, a cloud-based system used mainly by independent and private schools. It manages student and household records, enrollment, attendance, scheduling, grades, transcripts, billing, communication, portals, health, and other school operations according to licensed modules.

The platform can function as a full SIS, but its market and workflows differ from those of large California public districts with CALPADS obligations. The record should keep the BigSIS history while using the current Ravenna name and clearly describing its independent-school emphasis.

School Pathways SIS is a California student information and learning-management platform built especially for charter schools, independent study, personalized learning, and other nontraditional programs. It manages enrollment, attendance, schedules, grades, transcripts, master agreements, assignments, learning records, compliance, and state reporting.

Its program-specific workflows can address requirements that general SIS products handle only through customization, particularly independent-study attendance and documentation. Districts should identify whether they use the full SIS, charter oversight functions, or services for a particular alternative program.

Synergy SIS is Edupoint’s core student information system for enrollment, student records, scheduling, attendance, gradebook, transcripts, discipline, health, fees, state reporting, and family engagement. It anchors the broader Synergy Education Platform and shares data with optional teaching, assessment, special-services, MTSS, analytics, and registration modules.

Districts use Synergy as the system of record for daily student operations and as a source for downstream applications. The platform’s integrated modules can reduce duplicate entry, but districts should still map ownership, security, interfaces, grade passback, state-reporting corrections, and archival responsibilities.

Veracross is a unified school information platform designed primarily for independent schools. It uses a single database for admissions, enrollment, student and household records, academics, attendance, scheduling, grades, transcripts, communication, health, development, business workflows, and constituent portals.

Independent schools use Veracross to connect academic and administrative departments without maintaining separate records for the same families. California public districts should not assume CALPADS or public-sector workflows; the catalog should retain verified use while accurately describing the platform’s primary market.
