The HMH Growth Measures are a collection of research-based benchmark assessments that provide educators with an overall insight into how their students are performing in their grade level. With the exception of the Growth Measure Reading K–2, which is a fixed-form assessment, all other Growth Measure assessments (Growth Measure Reading, Spanish Reading Growth Measure, and Growth Measure Math) are computer-adaptive tests (CAT) that provide data on students’ reading or math performance on grade-level expectations and growth over time. The HMH Growth Measures offer multiple measures including a Scaled Score and performance levels. As computer-adaptive tests, they must be taken online and cannot be printed for offline testing.

The SAT Suite of Assessments was designed such that the SAT and PSAT-related assessments measure a common domain of knowledge and skills that are directly aligned with college and career readiness, at difficulty levels considered appropriate for specific high school grades, with reported scale scores that are vertically aligned across the SAT Suite.
