Pearson Mastering is Pearson’s discipline-specific Mastering courseware family. Learners complete publisher assignments, interactive tutorials, simulations, problem sets, and tests linked to a course text. Teachers use course reports to review student performance and guide instruction.
A response belongs to a discipline-specific course, problem, and scoring context. Teachers connect automated feedback with observed reasoning and local assessment before using results in the academic record. Online completion and awarded credit are separate decisions. Local educators retain responsibility for supervision and the relationship to the school’s official academic record.
