QSS/OASIS Human Resources supports personnel, employee assignments, position control, and related workforce administration within the QSS/OASIS education business-system family. District and county-office HR teams maintain employment information that also supports payroll and fiscal processes. Its responsibilities are distinct from the Finance & Accounting module.
Personnel and assignment records connect staffing decisions with payroll and fiscal activity in the QSS/OASIS family. HR and business staff share employee identifiers, position information, and effective dates. One employee can hold several assignments or change roles during a pay period. Position references and effective dates preserve the distinction between a planned change and the approved employment history.
Changes can affect pay, access, coverage, and workforce reporting on different schedules. HR, business, and technology teams coordinate approval and processing boundaries, including which system owns each fact. A complete understanding includes how corrections are reviewed and how an approved employment change reaches the services that depend on it.

- Maintains employee, position, assignment, compensation, credential, benefit, leave, and employment-history information according to the licensed modules.
- Provides role-based employee and manager access to appropriate records and transactions.
HR workflows
- Supports hiring, onboarding, personnel changes, approvals, forms, evaluations, time or absence processes, and document handling where configured.
- Reduces duplicate entry and gives staff a visible history of each action.
Reporting and connections
- Produces workforce, compliance, position-control, payroll, and operational reports.
- Exchanges data with supported payroll, finance, identity, recruiting, benefits, and state-reporting systems.
