Mosyle Manager is an Apple device-management platform built specifically for schools. It gives district technology teams a central place to enroll, configure, inventory, update, and secure Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV devices while using organizational structures and workflows familiar to K–12 environments.
School and class groupings give management policies their instructional context. Technology teams maintain device ownership and account relationships as equipment moves through deployment, repair, and reassignment. Configuration and assignment are related but different records. Device administrators coordinate those sources with identity and inventory owners when school or user circumstances change.

Apple enrollment and setup
- Uses Apple deployment services and supported enrollment methods to prepare institutionally owned devices.
- Automates profiles, restrictions, accounts, applications, and settings for schools, grades, classes, and users.
Application and update management
- Deploys App Store and compatible non-App Store applications to managed Apple devices.
- Supports application patching, operating-system update workflows, and an approved application catalog on eligible tiers.
K–12 administration
- Provides school-focused group structures, shared-device workflows, and delegated administrative roles.
- Includes classroom tools that let authorized teachers apply temporary learning configurations.
Security and compliance
- Offers Apple-specific security, hardening, compliance review, remediation, privilege, and filtering capabilities in applicable subscriptions.
- Centralizes device posture and protection workflows with management instead of requiring separate manual processes.
Identity and support
- Can connect macOS login to an organization's identity provider through Mosyle Auth on eligible tiers.
- Provides inventory, screen sharing, commands, and diagnostic information for remote support.
