Jamf Protect

Overview

Overview

Jamf Protect is endpoint-security software for Apple environments. Jamf Protect helps IT teams detect threats, monitor security events, and respond to suspicious activity on supported devices. District IT teams use it to protect managed Apple devices.

Apple security events connect the affected device with its user and observed activity. IT staff coordinate investigation and remediation with device administrators and the services needed for ongoing district work. Detection and response are separate parts of the workflow. Staff preserve the event context and review the effect of containment or remediation on legitimate district activity.
