ClassLink Roster Server

Overview

Overview

ClassLink Roster Server is rostering software that connects student information system data to educational applications through OneRoster. ClassLink Roster Server manages scheduled data sharing, preprocessing, and vendor connections so schools can maintain consistent accounts and class rosters across learning tools.

The roster relationship connects source students, staff, classes, and enrollments with approved vendors. District data and application owners coordinate mappings, sharing scope, and how additions or withdrawals reach each destination. A successful transfer can still carry a mismatched identity or an inappropriate field value. Source ownership and agreed receiving rules give the technical exchange its business meaning.

The work continues after the first successful exchange. A source correction, new school year, vendor update, or failed transfer can change what receiving applications know. Application owners and technical teams coordinate monitoring, exception review, and approved changes so that synchronized data continues to represent the intended students, staff, classes, and services.
