Schoolzilla is a data warehousing, analytics and reporting solution for K-12. Schoolzilla cleans and prepares your data for you and helps catch and resolve data quality issues. It helps centralize all actionable information in one place, and deliver timely insights through educator-created, best-practice dashboards. Schoolzilla helps by pulling all achievement and operational data into one place, delivering dashboards to educators to monitor, improve and save time spent completing annual reporting to the state and assisting in customizing automated exports from the data warehouse to fit the templates required by the state. 
 
SCHOOLZILLA, INC. develops a data management platform that turns achievement and operational data into interactive reports. The company has also developed a web based application, Assessment Explorer, which enables creation and sharing of student achievement reports. SCHOOLZILLA, INC. was founded in 2011 and is based in Oakland, California.
 
Unlike most education companies, Schoolzilla was forged within a school system. They spent five years as part of Aspire Public Schools – one of the nation’s top performing school systems serving low-income communities – closely collaborating with educators to “solve the data problem.” They iterated until the teachers and administrators told Schoolzilla that they got it right, and in the process, a best-in-class data warehousing, analytics and reporting solution for K-12 was built.
 
Word of their success spread, and Schoolzilla kept getting requests to share the best practices and technology they developed with other school systems. They heard the call, and in early 2013, Schoolzilla spun out of Aspire to become an independent, mission-driven organization. Since then, they’ve helped thousands of teachers, leaders and data analysts save time, gain critical insight and leverage all their data to drive action and change students’ lives.
