Lightspeed Alert

Overview

Overview

Lightspeed Alert is student-safety monitoring software that identifies concerning activity in supported school-managed digital environments. Lightspeed Alert supplies context and notifications to help school teams investigate potential self-harm, violence, and other safety concerns.

An alert begins a review workflow involving student identity and event context. Designated staff coordinate escalation and follow-up, while technology teams support the monitored deployment and authorized access. An alert or report is information for human review, not a diagnosis or established finding. Authorized responders follow local procedures and document the resulting decisions.
