    Build the staff timeline

    Place record-effective dates, academic year, employment start, employment end, and the current date in order.

    Name each date’s purpose

    Do not use Record Effective End Date as a substitute for Staff Employment End Date.

    Compare the validated relationship

    Check format, academic-year boundaries, future-date limits, and start/end sequencing.

    Resolve with HR/personnel

    Confirm the actual employment event and correct the authoritative date or extract rule.

    Post and inspect history

    Verify the accepted SDEM effective-dated history and downstream Fall 2 records.

2026–27 Fall 2 calendar

Before closing the correction

  • Confirm the accepted SDEM history under the intended SEID and Reporting LEA.
  • Compare CALPADS Report 4.4 with authorized HR/personnel evidence.
  • Reconcile related SASS and CRSE records and Fall 2 Reports 4.1–4.5.
  • Check other staff affected by the same source, mapping, or interface rule.
