What this error actually means

CALPADS expects one SASS row for each job classification at a school for an educator in an Academic Year. Multiple duties within that job class belong in its assignment-code fields and supported FTE—not duplicate primary-key rows.

    • Compare duplicate rows side by side.
    • Verify the same SEID truly represents one educator.
    • Reconcile FTE and distinct support assignment codes.
    • Trace joins, position records, and incremental exports.

    Find the first divergence

    Trace HR, position control, SIS scheduling, code crosswalks, joins, spreadsheet handling, file generation, and upload context.

    Make the supported correction

    Produce one evidence-supported SASS row per primary key and correct the source query so duplication does not recur.

    Regenerate and reconcile

    Confirm acceptance, review Reports 4.4 and 4.5, reconcile CRSE dependencies, and audit other staff produced by the same mapping.
