Recommended correction path

   Preserve the rejected row

   Capture submission ID, row, Reporting LEA, School, Academic Year, masked SEID, Job Classification, FTE, and assignment-code positions.

   Confirm identity and organization

   Match accepted SDEM history, authorized HR evidence, official organization codes, and the actual assignment before editing.

   Test the exact rule

   • Resolve the CDS code and official school type.
   • Confirm where the employee is organizationally assigned.
   • Distinguish service location from reportable School of Assignment.
   • Coordinate HR, program, and CALPADS staff for itinerant roles.

   Find the first divergence

   Trace HR, position control, SIS scheduling, code crosswalks, joins, spreadsheet handling, file generation, and upload context.

   Make the supported correction

   Report the staff assignment under the supported eligible school or LEA-level organization, or remove a row outside the Fall 2 reporting population.

   Regenerate and reconcile

   Confirm acceptance, review Reports 4.4 and 4.5, reconcile CRSE dependencies, and audit other staff produced by the same mapping.
