Recommended correction path

    Identify the submitted value

    Capture the field, value, school, academic year, course, section, and source record.

    Check the current code set

    Confirm the code is active for the reporting year and permitted in the CRSE field.

  3. 3

    Test the related fields

    Review the state course code and every field named in the validation; combination rules matter.

  4. 4

    Confirm the instructional reality

    Ask the appropriate site, curriculum, CTE, multilingual, or program lead what the course actually represents.

    Repair the crosswalk

    Correct the course catalog, SIS value, or extract translation that supplied the code.

  6. 6

    Reprocess the population

    Confirm acceptance and check every section using the same local mapping.

Before Census DayConfirm the SIS Version 18.0 release and reconcile SDEM, SASS, CRSE, and SCSE dependencies.
