Never inflate a supported duration to ten minutes merely to obtain acceptance. If the plan or source truly indicates fewer than ten minutes, special education program staff must determine the accurate reportable service arrangement and whether the source record requires correction.

Common conversion failures

  • A fraction of an hour was placed in a minutes field.
  • The number of sessions was exported instead of minutes per session.
  • A spreadsheet stripped leading zeroes.
  • A default zero replaced a missing value.
  • Total weekly minutes were divided or rounded incorrectly.

    Distinguish a true sub-ten-minute duration from a padding, decimal, unit-conversion, or default-value problem.

    Confirm the actual minutes per session for the service and Plan Effective Start Date.

    Ensure 25.14 supplies the correct frequency context and 25.15 supplies the supported session minutes.

    Repair the plan record, conversion, or extract mapping proven inaccurate; do not merely edit the upload file.
