The six-month boundary moves daily; calculate it from the date CALPADS processes the record.

A planned future service is not yet actual participation. Do not backdate participation to force acceptance. Verify whether the date has the wrong year, belongs to another event, or should wait until it enters the allowed window.

  • Next-year date entered with the wrong year.
  • Projected eligibility/placement date mapped as actual participation.
  • Academic-year start used instead of the student-specific event.
  • Month/day transposition or copy-forward.
  • Future record submitted too early.
