Equal dates are permitted when they truthfully describe a one-day membership/event.

Start and End represent different documented events. A reversed range may come from a wrong year, transposed columns, mismatched program segments, or a closeout applied to the wrong record.

    Capture student, school, program, start, end, service year/code, and transaction.

    Determine when eligibility/participation actually began.

    Determine whether and when membership actually ended.

    Ensure the corrected chronology does not create ownership or overlap errors.

    If an existing Start Date changes, use the supported old-key delete/new-key add workflow.
