How to review the record

  1. Compare the same roster

    Filter the submitted SENR file and the existing CALPADS enrollments to the same Reporting LEA (1.04), School of Attendance (1.05) and Academic Year ID (1.07). Count enrollment records on each side. A districtwide total can hide a missing school roster.

  2. Identify the omissions

    Match enrollment records by student and enrollment period. Review the records present only in CALPADS against the SIS. Check whether the export excluded an intended grade, program or enrollment period.

  3. Act on the difference

    If enrollments were omitted, correct the source or export filter, regenerate the full refresh and reconcile it again before processing. If the smaller roster is complete and intentional, acknowledge the warning and proceed.
