Recommended correction path

  1. 1

    Save the SCSC/CRSC pair

Capture student grade, section keys, State Course Code, attempted and earned credit fields, term, and transcript evidence.

  2. 2

    Confirm grade during the course

Reconcile SENR grade and the course-completion period.

  3. 3

    Confirm the course classification

Verify the CRSC State Course Code and whether the course is departmentalized under the Version 18 rule.

  4. 4

    Determine credits attempted

Use the approved course catalog, term structure, transcript policy, and student schedule.

  5. 5

    Repair configuration or record

Correct the course-credit setup, SCSC value, grade, or course code shown to be wrong.

  6. 6

    Reprocess and compare

Confirm attempted credits agree with earned credits, transcript, and section configuration across affected students.

Before closing the correction

  • Grade and departmentalized status are correct.
  • Credits attempted match the approved course value.
  • Earned credit remains independently supported.
  • Transcript and CALPADS completion records reconcile.
