Recommended correction path

  1. 1

    Save the completion evidence

Capture SCSC/CRSC, student grade, attempted/earned credits, final grade/result, transcript, and course configuration.

  2. 2

    Confirm grade and course classification

Verify the grade 9–12 condition and supported departmentalized State Course Code.

  3. 3

    Confirm the finalized outcome

Have registrar/teacher records establish whether and how much credit the student earned.

  4. 4

    Compare attempted and earned units

Apply local authorized grading/credit policy, including zero earned credit when that is the supported reportable outcome.

  5. 5

    Repair the authoritative source

Correct transcript finalization, credit calculation, course configuration, or extract mapping.

  6. 6

    Reprocess and reconcile

Compare CALPADS earned credit with the finalized transcript and aggregate credit totals.

Before closing the correction

  • The final course outcome is posted.
  • Earned credit follows authorized policy.
  • Attempted and earned values are not conflated.
  • CALPADS matches the transcript.
