Varonis is an enterprise data-security platform that discovers and classifies information, maps access permissions, and monitors use across supported cloud services, databases, and local repositories. District security teams use it to investigate exposure and review excessive access to organizational information.
The useful relationship is between sensitive content, its permissions, and observed access. Information owners and security teams coordinate investigations so changes protect the intended users’ continuing work. Logs and permissions need current identity and asset context. Security owners coordinate response with the staff responsible for the affected systems and information.
